Coal nepobaby wrecks ecosystem. The Gujarat is neither lifeless, nor a desert. If Modi is behind something, chances are it isn't good news.

From a BBC article about the area:

The extreme rains, heat and flooding of the Ranns have created a unique ecosystem suitable for a staggering amount of flora and fauna. In the winter months from October to March, flocks of migrating birds make their home in the Little Rann, including eagles, storks, cranes, sand grouse, chats, warblers, and arguably the Ranns’ most famous feathered residents, flamingos.

The Little Rann is also one of the last refuges of the endangered Asiatic wild donkey. Elsewhere, are desert foxes, Indian blue bulls and chinkara (often called “Indian gazelles”).
