The Key to Happiness?

1y 7mon ago by feddit.org/u/Dot in dataisbeautiful@lemmy.ml from cdn.statcdn.com

Kind of a useless image since it doesn't help visualize anything really. I can't even think of a format that it world make sense on since those surveyed answered yes to multiple things

Damn, no one there just has "freedom to enjoy hobbies" on there?

74% of people surveyed didn't select "having children"

Didn't select kids as extremely or very important.

Presumably there are seven choices:

  • extremely important
  • very imp
  • imp
  • ambivalent
  • unimp
  • very unimp
  • extremely unimp

The data is reporting the tail

eyy, nuance! Nice

Welp, guess I'm fucked.

0 for 5… who needs happiness anyway, when my bitterness keeps me warm at night?

money is actually the real key. get that and you can literally have all the rest w/o strings or hassle

It's a shame when the enjoyable jobs aren't hiring

For me having a job I enjoy also correlates with money. I like my current job a lot but if I got really shitty pay for it I think I wouldn't haha
