I admit I only read the summary but, despite having it in the title, this doesn't seem relevant to this sub? Am I missing something?
Specifically for "World-Building: Performing Place, Race, and Nation in Anime Fan Tourism", I do think it's rather tangential, but tangential nonetheless. It touches on how anime influences real-life travel.
