Finally got around to creating the backup community in case this goes down!

The backup community won't have any posts unless this main one goes down. (I can guarantee this because it's locked down to just mods being allowed to make posts—aka, me, aka Elevator7009.) If the main community goes down, I will post about it on the backup community and reenable posting for everyone there. So you can safely subscribe to both the main instance and the backup instance without getting spammed. Only one will ever be active at a time.

Why a backup community?

1. First, otome on Lemmy/Mbin started with Kbin, at !otomegames@kbin.social, which went down when kbin.social had federation issues and eventually went down.
2. Then we moved to !otomegames@kbin.run, which went down when kbin.run unexpectedly vanished.
3. So we moved again to otomegames@ani.social, where we can hopefully stay. If not, we jump to…
