You don't get an internet browser because that was one of the biggest attack vectors for injection hacks Nintendo had experienced.

There’s a web browser on Switch, it’s just not exposed as a general app. You can still access it when encountering WiFi network that requires captive portal to connect.

I've given up on Nintendo due to their business practices and how they treat their fans. I only have an SNES Classic, otherwise I've moved on to the SteamDeck and PC gaming.

I might come back if they make another Wii with the wiimote and nunchuck, since I prefer that to VR.
