Canon redesigned its entry-level EOS R50 with improved video capabilities

Did anyone use the EOS R50 before?

I used one briefly when I returned to photography, and had existing canon lenses. I took it to Argentina with me, and it did the job, but as soon as we got back, I replaced it with an Olympus/OM body

No, but eyeing this for a compact APS-C body. I’m not excluding attaching this tiny unergonomic brick to the 200-800 to get that sweet crop with 24MP 😄 4K webcam, C-Log3, uncropped 4K30 (would use 24), remote trigger (for possible second astro body), mic and headphone jacks: it tick the right boxes.

If Canon releases a MFS viewfinder and the photo modes are hidden but all carried over from the R50, it will be high up my list if the reviews keep to be positive.
