Not surprised, yet disappointed.
Whether WotC did this intentionally or not, Baldur's Village has too dedicated a following—and nuking it is so bad a look—that I don't think any company would willingly endure the PR fallout that comes from destroying it.
Isn't this the company that sent the Pinkertons after someone and tried to retroactively collect loyalties on everyone supporting their content? I don't think they'll let something as simple as PR get in the way of neverending profit.

The Baldur's Village DMCA takedown was issued mistakenly—we are sorry about that. We are in the process of fixing that now so fans and the Stardew community can continue to enjoy this great mod!
I have a hard time believing that, but at least they're backing off.
Wotc used to be a good company. Now they're just hasbros golden goose and they're squeezing as many eggs out as they can.
they have to protect their assets for when they release 1 d&d game every year like they said they would or something
