Samsung is paying $350 million for audio brands Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz and Polk

Ugh Marantz is ruined

It's been disappointing since AKG has been with Samsung. They were my main headphones and they've been dormant as a brand not long after Samsung took. I don't know how big Denon is now but like 15 years ago I remember Denon headphones always being recommended

Have a look at Fostex and/or any designs that use the Fostex drivers. I liked the AKG's I had, but gave them to my son. Currently using a set of Emu Ebonies as my DD (they use Fostex Bio drivers). I LOVE those things. They're incredible for the cost, and made from beautiful woods.
