Just a short hike through the woods, and I almost stumbled on this little guy. We exchanged head nods, and I went on my way.

I literally almost stumbled over him. I stopped for a breather, looked down at my foot, and he was right beside it.

He is. Found a few more as we made our way back, and he was definitely the biggest.
I would name him Mr Boxy Turtely. Or Mrs Boxy Turtely but I don't know how to tell a turtle's sex.
