Cyberpunk 2077 sequel features second city that's like "Chicago gone wrong", says series creator

So Detroit?

Detroit become Cyberpunk?

Does this mean we get to play as Brendan this time? because if so I’m down for Detroit Become Cyberpunk

Delta City.

I never asked for this.

Chicago, but the cows conquered it after the burning

That doesn't sound like Chicago gone wrong.

That'd be a helluva Skyrim mod - turn the NPCs into cows.

What do you MEAN Chicago gone wrong???

There's no deep dish pizza.

We all know the prologue was going to be like several hours and they got cheap and shortened it with a montage

iirc it did get proven that nothing in the montage was ever built though wording in early trailers call jackies death 'one outcome' so its more that he wasn't supposed to be garaunteed to die. Most likely with the AV on the roof being an alternate exit.

I do feel it ended up a bit shallow considering all the work they put into the scaffolding, but it's still such a solid game. I wish the devs would've had another few years to cook because all the core is essentially there, but with a little more tlc I think it could've been gta online level big and have had such a significant amount of longevity.

Insider leaks have reported that the name of this city will be... "Chicago." Release date TBA.

So just Chicago?

Can't wait to see how much of a broken mess this next one is

Is this just DLC or is this info on the next game that's currently called orion?

Bring. Back. So Mi

Sorry bro, I unplugged her. She's not coming back.

I will look for you. I will find you (c)

(joking, I am not that mad to get angry at strangers)

Haha, got me there bro, but no worries. Wait a sec sounds like someone knocked on my window brb-

Appreciated too, just ping back that you are okay :)

Can't wait for the next bug simulator to come out.

I mean I agree with you in principle. The world is massive; how does Africa deal with a cyberpunk future? How does South America survive a nuclear apocalypse? An alien invasion in India?

It would be fascinating to see different cultures and these issues.

Where else can you set a game where capitalism has gone wrong and excessive amounts of guns are available?

Another USA setting would be boring though. He isn't wrong about that.

I mean we could do what Deus Ex HR did. Go across the globe... But that means the maps would be smaller

World ain't fucked up outside of America. What fun is playing cyberpunk in a literal utopia? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is it confirmed??

That would be really awkward if only America was cyberpunkized and everywhere else is a socialist utopia

Is it confirmed??

Nah. Arasaka owns Japan, for fuck's sake.

It's safe to assume that the rest of the world is equally fucked, just probably with less guns, and with electric cars instead of those CHOOH2 guzzlers.

You sound like you come from a welcoming place with kind people, unlike the US lmao
