Signor was so infatuated with Scariot that she subsequently started attending other burials organized by the funeral director in the hope of catching his eye.

It took more than a year for Scariot to notice the frequent funeral attendee, but the two began dating last summer and are now wed.

“I used to think, ‘I’ll give the [grieving] family a hug just so I can see him,’ you know? But he wasn’t always there,” Signor stated
