ICC changes two-ball rule and concussion sub protocols in men's ODIs

Keep making these ludicrous changes.
ICC ought to have their own ball developing company. Make your own balls for ICC events. I think baseball does the same. And in no sport is the ball as important as cricket.
I'm also shocked at how devoid of creativity the 3 big companies are. I would've expected SG for example to have worked on a faux leather ball. Or just an alternate material. Not like the laws prohibit it.
If ICC dk nothing but organize events, surely they would have the time to add one task to their organisation.
According to the new concussion protocols, teams will have to name their substitute players to the match referee before the start of the match according to the following roles:
One wicketkeeper One batter One seam bowler One spin bowler One allrounder
I don't really see the point in changing the balls from leather/white to faux/pink. Like, the players are really accustomed to white leather balls in ODIs, and so are the spectators. It's more so tradition at this point. But yeah, they should make their own balls for ICC events. I doubt they'll do that though, most probably just comission it from the manufacturers.
