This is a really fun penny dreadful starring Lon Chaney and Joan Crawford. Great visuals and performances.
Damn... That's a full movie post. I am shocked. I was sitting here for almost ten minutes, thinking to myself, when this gif is going to end. I loved it.
One more good thing about silents is that most are in the public domain. this is one of my favorites.
I am done watching. This was an unexpected ride, the ending was... nerve-wracking to say the least. I really thought they would do some kind of practical special effect for the rip or that Alonzo would give up at the last second.
I’m glad you watched it, it’s a great flick. It’s a fun little thriller and Lon Chaney gives an iconic performance. At least it would be iconic, if anyone had heard of it.
