Haha yeah before you realize you already sold a kidney and lost your house.
But seriously, the base game is decent for a play through or two, i think it might be interesting to play multiplayer with friends.
Honestly, this game has given me enough hours of entertainment to justify what I spent on the DLCs. Definitely worth trying out the base game for free.

That's a weird date format. It seems highly ambiguous and difficult to sort asciibetically.
