The Orville season 2, episode 5 "All the World Is Birthday Cake"

Written by Seth MacFarlane, directed by Robert Duncan McNeill.

*When the leadership of Regor 2 decides to send a hello out in to space, they are surprised when the Orville shows up just a couple of years later. As they happily show Captain Mercer and his command staff around their homeworld, the Regorians are surprised again to learn that it is days away from Commander Grayson & Commander Bortus' birthdays and have them immediately taken into custody. Told by Admiral Perry (Ted Danson) that a rescue operation is out of the question due to First Contact protocols, Mercer pleads with the Regorians to explain themselves as Grayson and Bortus learn to endure life in a prison camp with others "Giliacs" like them."
