Is this a joke? It can't be that hard to have either a plastic card or an equivalent on some other sturdy material.
I love having to rely on having a smartphone in order to use a piece of ID to access basic services. Can't wait for the inevitable data breach. All this from the party supported by the "no digital ID" crowd.

Yet the theory behind the new world order is about the threat of a totalitarian government, so they...elect and back a government that is the closest thing to a totalitarian government we've...ever seen. Yeah. It's getting real hard to keep up these days.
Even looking past the potential privacy issues and data breaches, at least if I drop a paper or plastic card, it won't just up and break.
Now a modern phone is basically an eggshell, with a monthly service plan no less. Drop the phone and CRACK!!!
Plus people lose their phones or they get stolen more regularly than wallets anymore..
It's an accessibility thing as well. Homeless? Need ID? Buy a phone first with the money you don't have.
My grandma can present a health card from her wallet just fine, anybody can do that. Have fun getting her to remember her passwords though.
Not sure how there is anymore of a chance if a privacy breech. They already have all this information on their system.
