Crab spiders, the masters of camouflage

A couple of weeks ago I noticed an oddly angled bee on my moringa. Turns out it was one of these, I just didn't see them!

That's awesome! Looks like you got a big female there. They really are beautiful spiders.

That's Misumena vatia. They can even change colour (from white to yellow, often with pink stripes).

Very cool! Thanks!

Fabulous photos! It took some time for me to find her as I was looking in the wrong spot. Masters of camouflage indeed.

they are in my house. the other day I was going to ask what the pale kinda crab looking spider was called

Travis McEnery is brilliant!

However his video specifically covers Misumena vatia, which is a different species from yours (though they have very similar behaviour). If you're in the US it might be Mecaphesa sp. Probably M. celer, going by the green prosoma. Though I do have a red-green blindness.

I found another one yesterday.

Beautiful picture, but another species from the initial post.

Might be one of the ground crab spiders (they also sometimes sit on flowers), but not the best angle for an ID.
