Skyline Bowling dropped on Steam today—and it’s the best casual bowling game on PC.

You ever miss Wii Sports Bowling? You ever wish something like that existed on PC? Well, this is it. Skyline Bowling is the fix. No motion controls—but everything else? Dialed in.

Actually, Skyline Bowling goes further. This one torches Wii Sports Bowling because it’s not afraid to go weird. Ramps, trampolines, boxes. Full-on arcade nonsense. And it works. Bowling becomes chaos, and chaos makes it fun.

The graphics are Wii-esque. Think big cartoon heads, plastic sheen, and that cheerful color grading you’d find on the Mii Channel. Which hits me right in the feels, because the Wii is still my favorite console. But here I am playing on a 1200p monitor, and it sings. Won’t melt your face, but it doesn’t need to. GTX 950 or better and you’re golden.

Sound, though? Yeah, no. There’s one track. It loops. It’s short. It’ll drive you nuts in five minutes flat. But you can mute it, and then it’s just you and the ambient pins clattering in a fake neon skyline.

Now let me just tell you—I am a golden god at this game. I must be up against mobile players because I’m absolutely shredding them. And I’ll tell you why: Xbox gamepad. The analog stick makes your aim feel surgical. Hit “A” to throw. That’s it. Keyboard and mouse? Playable. But not optimal. Gamepad is the way. Also works keyboard-only or mouse-only. No timed bars. No meter mechanics. Just flick and roll. Simple and clean.

The big draw is multiplayer—and yes, it delivers. Online tournaments feel great. I cleaned house. But the real joy is split-screen PvP. Up to four people. Throw it on a TV, boot it from your Steam Deck, and you’ve got yourself a party game. Feels like a Wii Sports Resort alt-universe sequel made for 2025.

There’s DLC, but it’s all fluff. Cosmetic stuff like bee-themed balls, cyberpunk gloves, neon shoes, and Halloween skins. It’s cheap. You can skip it. Doesn’t affect gameplay. Just changes the drip.

Only Windows is officially supported, but I’ve been running it on Linux through Proton and it’s flawless. Zero tweaks.

Specs are light: 2.8 GHz CPU, 6 GB RAM, GTX 950, and 750 MB of space. If you’ve bought a computer in the past ten years, you’re probably fine.

Only one other person has reviewed this on Steam. One. But take it from me: I’ve got thousands of PC games, and not one of them scratches the bowling itch like this. Not PBA Pro Bowling, not Premium Bowling, not The Big Lebowski Bowling. Skyline Bowling is what the doctor ordered.

The dev is VOODOO. They make a lot of casual sports arcade games—most with good reviews. Skyline Bowling is one of their best. Published by QubicGames, if you’re keeping track.

Intro price is C$3.89. That’s two loons and a toonie. Less than a coffee. And a hell of a lot more fun.
