Fuck yeah! This is great news. So excited to see it decoupled from Meta
It would be cool if React Native for Windows and macOS got more attention. I haven’t tried it personally but I’m sure it doesn’t get the same amount of consideration as Android and iOS.
There's a slight chance that they just want to avoid financing or tax optimization.
