What do the buttons do!? That's the important question here. I want to push, esp. the red one.
And there is not a sign prohibiting the testing of said button actions...

My guess:
That looks like the controls of a motorized overhead door like at a loading dock. They put a sign to keep people from leaving pallet jacks there, avoiding accidents when entering/exiting
