This and Mamdani in the same night is incredible. Congrats NYC and VA!
It's even better in Virginia. Virginia's state legislature increased it's position in the House of Delegates to 61 out of 100 confirmed seats. They originally had 51. In their other chamber, they still have a small margin 21-19, but those seats are up for election in 2027.
Lt. Governor & Attorney General went to Democrats by pretty large margins, as well.
New Jersey elections went towards Democrats.
Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which is Democrat majority, was voted to stay in place.
Maine rejected voting restrictions.
Overall, Democrats had sweeping victories throughout the Eastern Seaboard.
And prop 50 in CA!
