That trees needs chopped down asap...

It's about to be winter and it's damn close to the house.

A "fairy circle" is because the dense nutrients was in the middle, and the mushrooms pop up in a circle when the fungus gives up on finding more nearby.

The tree is likely part dead, and the mushrooms ate the roots and moved on already. It might be a locust, and while they're great lumber they can do a lot more damage when they come down for the same reasons.

But if snow/ice accumulates, it coming down is a pretty good chance
