Mesmerizing.

Right? Reminded of when I was a kid and living in an INCREDIBLY cold part of Canada. I was walking to my grandmothers house and got, as you said, mesmerized by something. The houses in the area weren't massive. It was a town but was build to get 'bigger' so everything was kinda packed together. The front yard of this house though had a small bush-like tree as well as a big maple tree. Both were lined with either white or blue lights, spread in a way where it looked like the blue was the 'shadow' of the white. Each color would cycle, very slowly, which lights would dim and twinkle ever so slightly. They then took out a hose and had coated the trees with water, freezing it in like 2cm of ice, diffusing the light. I was just stood there staring at the trees slowly shifting and glowing in the night.

I miss the pure innocence.

Love these random moments of life when you can get a mini essay as a reply on your 1-word comment. 😁
