The physics of air resistance means 300kmh is all that is practical for near surface transport. If you need to go faster altitude is important. In short I'm not impressed, faster is an engineering challenge that I have no doubt will be beat many times - several times the speed of sound is possible. However practical for regular service is not an engineering problem and I don't see it.
