Keep in mind that the racist part of the tweet is what Jefferies is reacting to. Not the insane policy shit that went along with the tweet. Democrats, as a party functioning through party leadership, largely support what Trump is doing with ICE, DHS, everything Trump has done to destroy this country. Democrats, through their leadership, support Trumps policies.
The thing Jeffries is reacting to is the presentation, which, duh, yes, abhorrently racist. But notice that Jefferies doesn't push back against the policy positions. Just the presentation.
A seondary effect of this was to distract from the Epstein files. Because holy shit. Its all we should be talking about right now.
