edit: Felt more like a National Treasure over an Indie film, starting from neutral (5/10) we end up at (6/10) not bad, if not heavily coated in schlock.

I guess it is the other way around as National Treasure came after this one. I can see similarities. JCVD is surprisingly good as swashbuckling hero.

it is pretty good - very wacky action movie that mostly pulls off the Indiana Jones vibe and puts its own spin on it. It is also very stupid but the action is solid.
