Im a lefty, so I have either to press really hard, or chance my handwriting being so poor as to be illegible. Took me decades to train my English to be decent, and it still takes a lot of effort. Can’t wait until I learn Chinese well enough I can write in total slop and still have it be semi-legible.

The aunties and uncles used to say you were ready when you had the pen blister. I have had it for decades and I have nowhere near your consistency.
The last time I wrote in a get well card for a friend's grandma, it got made fun of for having weird half backwards strokes and not making sense, then recently I ran into him and went for drinks and he asked if I remembered that time I wrote AI generated text in the card for his grandma...

Thank you!! I have to write sooo slow to have any consistency lol. I need to practice more, I’ve been slacking on my writing for a while, so I figured today was as good a day as any. I’ve been having problems remembering these characters so I figured drilling them over and over would help, but after I finished I turned the page and apparently I’d already drilled half of them so apparently it didn’t haha! I guess I just need to be more consistent with my practice instead of bursts of multiple hours once a month or so…
