Six Nations 2026: Why Ireland and Wales no longer clash in their traditional red and green

Strange for me, but we'll get used to it I'm sure. Wales alt should yellow though, more yellow needed
Around one in 12 men and one in 200 women have CVD, meaning a sizeable proportion of the rugby community is affected.
I did the maths: according to rugbyrapt, "Women now make up 41% of global rugby followers" as of 2025.
Using that number means that 5.12% or about 1 in 20 struggle to see the difference between red and green, so it makes sense.
White feels too similar to England, and you can't be having that as a Welsh fan.
I did quite like the old black and yellow (from the flag of Dewi Sant). I do wonder how that would look inverted with a black trim.
