No? The Persian Gulf is a part of the Indian Ocean. The dead sea is landlocked and on the other side of the Arabian Peninsula.
I see. Not very familiar with the geography around that part, I guess.

The dead sea is in Israel/Palestine. You’re thinking of the red sea.
