In the UK, a party can come close to a majority with just 25% of the vote.

In most democracies, 25% of the vote means about 25% of seats. Under first-past-the-post, it could mean near total power.

This cannot be our future. Canada needs proportional representation.

I agree. What do we do to finally bring this in to Canada? We need to make it a central issue, I guess. A letter to MP and/or MLA? It's hard to shoot up a flare in a world gone mad with so much other dystopic crap going on right now.
