Hundreds of scientists back all-Ireland service to tackle misinformation

& many will be screaming that acting contrary to disinformation is "violation of free speech" & "unacceptable censorship", while conveniently ignoring that the harm disinformation does .. censors lives ( needless suicides, needless murders, etc ), & suppresses/censors truth.

Having an immune-system is REQUIRED for health, in a competitive-ecology infested with pathogens, cancers, & parasites, whether internal ( those which threaten the inside of one's body ) or external ( those which threaten civilization ).

I'm glad somebody's finally putting gov't commitment against disinformation .. but I've seen enough gov't-pushing-disinformation to know that .. it's totally-dependent on how corrupt/noncorrupt the institutions are, at the moment.

The US's DOG shredding Epstein documents, to protect .. someone .. from accountability, is a perfect example of "warring for the wrong side" by gov't.

RFK Jr's war against medical-science is another, displacing information with disinformation..

Every choice has consequences, in legislation: be careful, & do well.

Well said. Thankfully, this is a non-profit so for now government misinformation ("we didn't bail out the banks", anyone?) is less of a concern.
