Sony has announced significant price increases for its PlayStation range, starting 2nd April, which will see the base PS5 climb by around £90 in the UK.

Weird coincidence that it also coincides with Sony stopping production of PC ports for all single-player titles making them entirely PS5 exclusives.

$900 for a PS5 pro doesn't leave me hopeful for an affordable steam machine. I'm not in the market for the machine, but do want the frame and I'm not thinking my hopeful $700 price range is going to happen. At this rate it might be more than the index.
