Gibson is a real piece of shit as a person, but he was a fantastic actor.
Still, I think Bridges was a step up.
I can’t imagine the movie with that other guy in it. I think it would possibly be lost to the mists of time. The Dude is The Dude, y’know? So that's what we call him!
