@LPI @morrolinux @matrix Matrix's federation capability is the big plus compared to Signal or other messengers.
@fairkom just published the fairchat app with a pre-configured scalable home server fairchat.eu and federated login. But you can always choose or set up your own home server and still chat with everybody else.

The French government uses Tchap, their own Matrix network, because Signal, WhatsApp, etc. (they named these specifically) cannot be trusted to actually be doing what they claim.
