Whatever happened to the mom-and-pop magnet stores that sold fine, locally-produced magnets made by hand with love?
Capitalism.
Now even the smaller souvenir stores start to have AI image fridge magnets. At least there are some magnets with picture of the locations sight seeing destinations so that is still good.
