I'm glad the city is at least trying to do something. I wish they would focus more on building traffic calming and separate infrastructure for cyclist and pedestrians. Rather than giving cops money and changing the speed limits.
it's a good idea to narrow it down too. it influences a lot in the tendency to speed. more space for pedestrians too.
narrow down street lanes and implement parking at an angle, so you could bump against another car at a moment's notice
Are the fatal crashes caused by people who'd ignore reduced speed limits anyway?
As long as the tickets are only fines and not jail, it's just a tax for the rich
