According to a new report, some form of a Halo extraction shooter may be in the works after a previous battle royale was cancelled.
Company that struggles with maintaining user base on a game series people want to be good, decides to pivot to game nobody wants in an oversaturated market where gaining a notable foothold is near impossible. They genuinely believe this is the right path forward and will solve their playerbase issues.
They're literally regrowing their feet just for the sake of shooting them again. It's like I'm watching a looney toons cartoon
Maybe 343 in mustache glasses "Halo Studios" should figure out how to make a Halo game first before they start making spin off games.
'Threatens' is the right word for any new extraction shooter coming out. It's been done/is being done far too much recently. I can't turn my head 15 degrees without getting blasted by arc raiders/fortnite clones or whatever the flavor of the month is.
(Reportedly) Canceling a BR because that market is too saturated and pivoting to an extraction shooter is very funny to me
Escape from tarkov then, I can't be bothered to remember the difference between the 2 most popular slop modes of the decade, I'm just tired of them both being so oversaturated. The bandwagon is distracting from ideas that are actually interesting.

Not necessarily a bad thing. Halo Wars was pretty good. It all depends on the execution. Tho I have my doubts with Halo Studios.
