Couldn't sleep, so I made blush Alfredo sauce with langostino tails

It was good. I'd probably simmer the tomatoes in the cream first rather than adding them later if I did it again. Happy to post the recipe if anyone wants it.

Recipe, since people asked for it:

  • 1 large head of garlic, peeled and minced
  • 12 oz langostino tails
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup parmesan
  • 4-5 plum tomatoes, diced
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Add minced garlic and tomatoes to heavy cream and bring to a low boil for about 5 minutes, or until tomatoes are soft. Add parmesan slowly and stir until dissolved, about another 5 minutes. Salt and pepper, then add langostino tails and simmer about 3 minutes. Serve over spaghetti or linguini (or whatever the hell you like, I'm not a cop)

Yes, please.

Love, love, LOVE noodles. Specially the stringy kind (in any form).

My favorite i found lately is long like spaghetti, but thicc and hollow inside, like 2x+ the width of spaghetti but half the width of a macaroni

After research I ddg'd it Bucatini!

Fun fact: Back in 2020, there was a bucatini shortage caused by an FDA hiccup.

Looks delicious, well done. I'd love to see the recipe.
