Honestly pissed me off they put in a montage of Kingpin killing or at least seriously injuring a bunch of protesters, the protesters finally get his ass...
And Daredevil gave a fucking "we're better than this" speech and stopped it.
Motherfucker was literally beating people to death minutes ago and completely devoid of empathy or regret in the courtroom scene. He is 100% beyond rehabilitation and at a certain point society is better off without him.
I get he's a major character played by an amazing character and Kingpin won't ever be killed off...
But I'm just so over this "no matter how much the wealthy and powerful kill, they can't be".
It's like medieval battle where peasants risked their lives while the wealthy got the equivalent of a tank and would always be prioritized as a prisoner for ransom than killed for being the root cause of the war in the first place.
Out of anyone, the ones leading this type of shit are the ones that deserve to die for it, not the normal people they manipulated, especially when the motivator is money to escape the poverty the wealthy caused in the first place.
Start sparing henchmen and killing villains.
I get you. I enjoyed the episode though and being a big fan of the Bendis and Brubaker comics, I like how they executed Murdoch outing himself and going into prison. Next season should be great and I very much enjoyed the more cohesive season 2.
