Man, imagine being at a family holiday, then busting out a hammer and chasing people around, smashing legs anD hands, and then next holiday when nobody shows up to your house you blame the neighborhood a mile away and say they have much nicer stuff to smash than you.

He's just on step two.

1. create problem

2. publicly realize problem

3. give money to rich people so you get a bribe in return

4. don't give a fuck if that actually fixes said problem because you're set.

No no no, safe and effective drug regulation is the problem! Do you know how many snake oils we'd have right now if it weren't for the oppressive Obama/Biden regime?

It's nice to blame him for this, but the tiny back and forth that he has caused is nothing compared to the consistent growth that China has. They have created a pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry (like many other industries) from first principles, starting with the simplest drugs and working their way up in complexity as the supply chain and industrial experience grows.

It was a matter of time for them to outgrow the US, it's not a true competition. The state fosters innovation and industrial growth in a way nowhere else on the planet does.
