ComicList: New Comic Book Releases List for 05/20/2026

Tomorrow is Wednesday! What's on your list? For me:

  • Absolute Green Arrow #1. Looks like another income swap in the Absolute universe... I'm in.
  • End of Life #4
  • X-Men United #3. I was on the fence about this series, mainly because it being set in their heads, in a psychic location, seemed like just an easy way to have characters join up that's aren't physically around each other in their regular series' right now. But issue #2 was fantastic, and I want to see where this is going now.

If you weren't aware, the "Absolute" universe in DC is basically supposed to be their equivalent to Marvel's "Ultimate" universe, where things happen differently/opposite to how they normally do, and the heroes we all know and love have had much worse/rougher starts to their careers

Is there an Ultimate series that you recommend? I knew that's what it was, but I was never sure where to start. So I figured I'd jump on DC's Absolute line from the beginning.

Not really tbh. I haven't actually read any of the Ultimate comics, or Absolute for that matter. I want to read Absolute DC though.

I thought I was out of comics for real, but there is a new Lobo series I need to check out.
