Probably should have, but it didn't occur to me until I saw this that the camping tents in Mongolia would also be yurts.
Interesting, you don’t typically see people camping in the middle of what appears to be a shopping mall.

Just looking at it from the outside, this appears pretty flimsy and not very wind-proof to me. I'd expect that rectangular form factor to behave like a sail in tough weather.
As a hexagon with a dome, it should mitigate wind more than a conventional rectangular tent since there is less surface area in any one direction to catch the wind.

Thank you, great point! There was something about this tent I didn't like, but the aesthetic was so appealing I couldn't pin it down.
Must be awful to pitch. If I need a tent, I exclusively use 2-second tents
