New post: The Markdown Link no. 32

Among today’s links are markdown editors Neverwrite, Lumen, Notchpad and Marco. Plus there’s Affine, an open-source knowledge management app, similar to Notion, but better, in my opinion.

I hadn't heard of Affine before, that looks really cool. I just tried it, though, and it writes to a database instead of local files. I've been sticking to just local files lately, so that takes a few options off the table.

I like Marco and Polo being separate viewers and editors. I'm usually writing my markdown notes in the text editor that I already have open, but sometimes I want a viewer to make sure it looks right.

Same here, on Affine. It looks really good (and probably is), but I like to have my files where I can see them. Try Nota (paid, $49 after trial) and MarkText (free, not updated in a while and doesn’t do wiki links, although he seems to be looking at the files again). Assume you’re on macOS.
