GrapheneOS is known for constantly perceiving themselves as the victims of online harassment and delete criticism more often than necessary. But I assume they've deleted this article because it's mostly overblown and/or unrelated to GOS's cooperation with Motorola. Nobody knows what their phone will look like, but it's surely not going to be anything like the cheap Walmart phones. Also this article is mostly written by AI.
Why would you try to delete it if you think it is overblown and/or unrelated? If that would be the case it shouldn't bother GOS. The fact that they DID try to delete it is a red flag for me.
Maybe they are really insecure about they're relationship with Motorola sure but given the fact that you are acting as the most secure AND privacy friendly OS on the planet, you should not act like this. They should've given their comment and say why they're not worried or why they're surprised by it. Or, like said, ignore it if they don't think the story holds.
Also why do you think its written by AI? I don't get that vibe at all.
