I'm a talking well. Do you think me a bore?
I just realized I haven't seen the word "jism" in probably decades. When did it change to jizz?
Maybe back when Star Wars first came out, and George called the cantina music “jizz”.
Hard to say, etymonline doesn't even show any results for jizz, and Wiktionary just notes that it's a clipping of jism.
Google Ngrams shows a more interesting plot, but it doesn't show the change happening decades ago, it's much more recent:
I'd assume it has to do with the proliferation of porn streaming sites, circa 2005, but the ngrams graph seems to place the change a little later. Jism does seem old fashioned but I'm not sure why.
When somebody wished for it...it was me.
Oh this made me laugh. Wish I had more than one person I could send it to who would find it equally funny.
