People may not be ready to hear the message in the photo but they definitely feel it, that's why I think messaging like Mamdani's that meet people where they're at might finally get us out of this post truth Hell.
It appeals to people's needs and puts forward real solutions rather than getting mired in rhetoric.

People need to understand we always have the money for anything and everything we do, we print money whenever we need to fund something. Printing money for education works because for every dollar you put into education you get back 10 in the future. Printing money for war on the other hand is just inflationary as these wars never result in any benefit to the people and you get no return on it. The US is the only country that can do this because its the world reserve currency, yet they exclusively only use this power to expand their military and give money away to the rich.
We are however quickly moving towards a world where the US dollar will no longer be the world reserve currency and the US will have nothing to show from it except for over a thousand billionaires and enough bombs to destroy the world.

They didn’t “find” the wealth, they already had it. They have had it for a long time. What we’re finding is that they’re comfortable doing away with is the myth of trickle down economics and the idea that our democracy self-regulates by allowing everyone a voice, that extremist values are countered by politeness, legality, and bureaucracy. Wealth isn’t power, it’s a resource that can be utilized for power if one wants. They used their wealth to get where they are and now they use it to do as they please and pay their loyalists to stand between us and them.

The Jan 6 insurgents were paid protesters and AntiFa, not good and misunderstood citizens there for a peaceful rally.
Therefore we are paying paid AntiFa protesters. Again. For storming the capitol.
