This is bullshit but also completely true
That makes it half true.
The shower is half full.
Not complete bullshit, lonelier people are physically colder and do seek out warmth
Alternatively: Lonely people get to take longer hotter showers because there's more hot water because it isn't consume by a bunch of other people in the house leaving you with only a 2 minutes of luke warm water before you get nothing but cold water left.
No lonely with roommates is a vibe they're never happy
Gas heated warm water for the win! It's quirky but this is its super power, endless showers possible!
Good to hear that what I've got is hotter and longer.
More surface area to clean, takes longer
That's why I spend so long cleaning my weiner.
Jokes on you, I take long hot showers because it's the only quiet time I get in my damn house.
My showers would boil a lesser man to death.
This could be partially true, lonelier people do run colder and seek out warmth more then socially included people
She'd probably be less lonely if she didn't make that stupid duck face.
I'm not unconvinced of this.
I'm a loner but not lonely and I take super fast showers with the water off during soap and shampoo scrub.
My former roommate at a previous living space who was a super invasive extrovert practically lived in the shower during lockdown.
Anecdote: I'm someone who almost always has been a quick showerer. Then I had some stuff happen that made me feel lonelier than I'd been in years. When taking an average shower (see: no forced deadline to make a bus/work on time/etc.), I did notice I was in there for much longer than previously (<10 min to 20-30 minutes).
Ain't data but it was a pretty striking difference to observe.
Hmm. I think duration is more indicative, than temperature. I take long hot showers in the winter, and long cold showers in the summer.
