I'm for not giving shitty companies any platform at all. Use alternatives. I've been doing web design side gigs every once in a while for ~15 years and I used Paint.NET as graphic editor. 🗿

Even better: learn to use the alternatives so your employer isn’t forced to rent adobe products either
