The bike used in the review is a 10k bike. The cheapest one id 4k. Who the fuck is buying these bikes? I just payed 2k for a Salsa Journeyer Cues and while I love the bike it still felt like too much. 4 years ago I bought a Surly ogre and it was on sale for 1300. These companies really need to address the sub-2k market. Not everybody wants a racing bike.

It's like you're going to a car dealership to buy a car, but every car brand is either Yugo or Ferrari. No in-between. You're either getting a bargain basement piece of shit assembled by untrained morons (walmart bike), or an extremely expensive highly optimized performance machine (major brand bikes). No other choices.
(Where the fuck is the "Honda" of bike manufacturers?)
