So 400,000 kg of liquefied natural gas (methane), along with 1.6 million kg of liquid oxygen oxidizer just went up in a fireball. The gas alone is the equivalent to 9000 full sedan sized gas tanks. Way to rub it in billionaires.

Heeeeey, quick question, honest question. They have the money to pay for all that shit.

Do you think they have money to pay taxes?

If they had to face oppression like paying taxes they'd go bankrupt of course. If would stifle the economy. They would move to Europe.

In other reactions, "Oh no, what if Mr. Bezos were on board? That would just be soooooo awful..."

Imagine living 10 minutes away from that, and not giving a shit about NASA.

I live in Ohio, and I had no idea there was a rocket launch today. Maybe they're more tuned into these things, living right there, but imagine if they aren't.

You're just in your back yard, and you see trump droning on and on and on. He's starting new wars, doing new shit every day.

And then without warning you see a fireball mushroom explosion and think "OH FUCK, DID WE JUST GET NUKED???"

Because yes, thats clearly smaller than a nuke, but in person, 10 minutes down the road? It might not be so obvious. Especially when you mix in fear, panic, and survival instincts.

It's just a surprise mushroom cloud explosion.

Pretty sure I'd piss myself. But that's fine. It's Florida. I'd fit right in smelling of piss and soot.

Camera operator was so ready for that optical zoom out

WOW it's beautiful
